MO-1 DMAT - Specialty Team Page

Missouri 1 DMAT has many professionals with varied specialty and expert resources.  We will be working on forming specialty teams as special resources to NDMS and other during a time of need.
We are currently developing these specialty teams and are in various stages for each team.  These include, but not limited to:

- Burn Specialty Team - MO-1 sent more burn nurses to NYC for the World Trade Center disaster to work at the burn center, than any other single team.  We had more resources prepared to deploy also.

- Pediatric Specialty Team - We have many pediatric specialists on the team and are also being supported by a Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center.  This team already had Emergency Pediatric Physicians and nurses.

- HAZMED - possibly a new NMRT/WMD team in the future.

- MHAT - Mental Health Assistance Team - Critical Incident Stress Management.
